wedding photography perth, bouquet
Will you travel in the name of love? Of course! I am based in the Perth Metro area but I am willing to travel anywhere, if you're happy to provide me with accommodation and cover my travel costs. Please send me somewhere beautiful, I love travelling.
WHAT IS AN ELOPEMENT WEDDING? In an elopement style wedding, traditionally you would run away and get married without the consent of your parents, with little no one knowing of your union until after the fact, but not any more. An elopement style wedding now refers to a union with a private style approach of usually under 20 guests. Sometimes it can be just the bride and groom at some beautiful, personal location with the personnel required to make the marriage legally official - celebrant and witnesses. Often this is a more private and intimate affair it centers on the needs of couple rather than the spectacle of the wedding day. Can you bring the photographer - yes please!
How many hours of photography do I need? This really depends on how much coverage you want for your day and the timings of your day. I offer wedding packages of 4hrs, 6hrs and 8hrs. For these, you choose your photography start time and extras, so you can work out exactly what you would like covered.
WHAT IS A SECOND SHOOTER AND DO I NEED ONE? Second shooters are great and I would recommend one for every ceremony if possible. They are a second photographer (usually booked for the ceremony only) that offer more coverage for important parts of the wedding. It's ensures that all moments are covered, from all angles.
Will you be able to help us with our photography timeline for our day? Of course! I would love to make sure that there is enough time for everything that you need covered without rushing or stressing. I am also all across when the beautiful light for portraits will be and where/when you will get the best results for your bridal photography *hint it's right before the sun goes down but there are a lot of things competing in that hour so scheduling is very helpful.
What time of day is the best lighting-wise for my outdoors ceremony? Anytime is good, just be mindful of what the light is doing in that place/time. I recommend going to the exact spot where you will get married at the exact time you've booked and take some photos. Ideally you want to be in full shade, without any dappled light. The Australian sun is very harsh and can be at times unflattering for photography. If you can move to the full shade or plan accordingly you will be on track for good results.
How many images will we receive when will we receive them? I have an average 8-10 week turn-around for wedding shoots. My family portraits or band portrait sessions turnaround is approximately 2 weeks. I will deliver all the best images from the day. The more hours you book me for the more images you will receive. For weddings this is often upwards of 250/350 images, for other shorter portrait shoots approximately 50. I will always export each of these images twice - once for ease of web sharing and again for perfect prints. I will deliver all photographs digitally and beautifully edited. Weddings come on USB and some “sneak peak” in an online gallery for you to share with friends/family. Shorter shoots 2 hours and under will be delivered online through links.
Can you help us professionally print our photos? I don't provide printing in-house currently, but I can absolutely help you find the perfect lab to make our photos sing.
